Laboratory for Biochips & Biosensors

Our lab is located in E2-101 and has advanced equipment such as laser cutter (UNIVERSAL, VLS360), 3D printer (Formlab4), centrifuges (Eppendorf), galvanometer (keithley,6514), digital source meters (keithley,2614B), inverted fluorescence microscope (Niko,Ts2), microplate reader (Tecan Infinite Eplex), and digital dynamic gas mixing system.

University Laboratory Platform

An advanced micro-nano processing and testing platform, built by top-notch equipment and talented individuals, currently comprises over 30 sets of large-scale micro-nano processing and characterization devices, including electron beam lithography machines, reactive ion etching machines, physical vapor deposition systems, transmission electron microscopes, and X-ray microscopes. This platform can meet the research needs of silicon-based and flexible micro-nano structures and devices.

Center for Biomedical Laboratory Technology

The Biomedical Experimental Techniques Center primarily serves the Life, Medical, Engineering and Science Discipline Group at Westlake University. In line with the disciplinary direction of Westlake University, a series of sub-platforms have been established, including Microscopic Imaging, Mass Spectrometry and Metabolism, Flow Cytometry, and Cryo-Electron Microscopy, to provide technical support for cutting-edge research, innovative development of key technologies, and talent cultivation.
The Experimental Animal Center is committed to creating an integrated platform (breeding, research, development, and application) for experimental animal technology services. Currently, we have established various professional technical services, including: breeding of mice and rats, purification of mouse biology, production of transgenic and gene-edited mice, rapid expansion using IVF, assisted reproduction, cryopreservation and recovery of mouse embryos and sperm, production of animal disease models, and guidance in animal experimentation techniques.

Public Experiment Platform for Physical Science

Relying on the School of Science, the focus is on serving the research in the forefront of material science, including quantum, energy, environment, optoelectronics materials and related devices, providing comprehensive system support for characterization and analysis techniques. Currently, there are four specialized analysis and testing laboratories under the platform, equipped with a large number of cutting-edge scientific research equipment in the fields of surface physics analysis techniques, comprehensive physical property analysis techniques, microstructure and morphology characterization techniques, and electron microscopy techniques, and also staffed with a group of young and highly skilled professionals.
